How much do we have to pay into obamacare

No, it is a law that says EVERY american person MuST buy it. And every american Business must provide it.
Unless, you are a kid who is four or mor years less than thirty, OR you really really really can't afford it anyway, or your business doesn't employ more than 49 full time people, or except, or except,
Or except if your business donated heavily to DEMONcrats in 2008, 10, 12, and have already turnind in your check for 2014.

Obamacare is an 8 year plan to reform health care and insurance. The individual mandate provision of 2014 is a means of helping people to buy insurance at lower cost but it will be mandatory by January. You can buy it from a state exchange if you're not covered any other way. Here is the Obamacare website which explains everything.Source(s): http://www.healthcare.gov/

No. The term "Obamacare" might be misleading in this sense because some people seem to think that it's a government run insurance plan like Medicare. It's not. It's a broad set of reforms to the health care and health insurance industries designed to make health care cheaper and better. It DOES expand Medicaid and close the "Medicare donut hole" but it doesn't create any new entitlement programs.

It is an unworkable scheme destined to fail.
To fund Obamacare young health people have to sign up for it.
The fine for not joining is much smaller than the cost of the premiums.
You can also not sign up for Obamacare and continue to get treated in hospital emergency rooms.
And you can still join up later if you get sick because you can't be excluded for having a pre-existing condition.
Considering young people usually have less disposable income and are healthy why would they join an expensive plan to subsidize older sicker people?
This is a slow moving train wreck.

Not really. It's an attempt to make the private insurance system we have as effective as possible. One way to do that is to get as many people insured as possible. The more people are insured, the lower costs would be because more people will be paying into the system.

No it is a way to make you buy health insurance.
If you do not do so you will pay a hefty fine and still not have health insurance.

It's a way to measure that you're paying for health insurance. If you're not, then it's a way to fine you.
