How long does it take for tobacco to flower? and?...?

I currently have two nicotiana rustica species of tobacco that are about 10-12 weeks old and are patiently waiting for them both to flower, they are currently less than a foot long and are said to grow up to 3 feet long. Anyway how much longer should it be until both my tobacco plants flower? and also when they do fully mature, how do I harvest and hang the leaves to dry, and how long do I let them hang until they are ready to be smoked?

emmann i know cannabis is safer, but until that becomes legal, tobacco will have to do

Lord man, tobacco cures for years. I know Gomer Pyle made cigars for Sargent Carter while they were in the field. Oh, that Hollywood.

You are much safer smoking cannabis.
