USMC dress blues and white trousers?

My friend who recently got married wore his dress blues on his wedding day but the thing is instead of wearing his blue trousers, he wore white ones. He is a Cpl. and has been in for a little over 4 years. Was he allowed to do that? I thought the dress whites were only allowed for SNCO's and officers. Why was he allowed to wear them even though he is just a Cpl?

Also, I'm not going to confront him about it. I'm just wondering why he was able to because I thought usually only SSgt. were allowed to wear dress whites.

Ha ! He already did it so why ask ? Are you going to tell him he was wrong and ruin his wedding day memories? It is already done so move on.
