What can i feed my 7.5 month son?

His doctor said to only feed him baby food like Gerber stage 2. Only fruits & veggies. Is there anything else I can feed him?

Nope. Most 7 month old babies don't have teeth. :) You should listen to the baby's doctor. You could also try going to this website for additional information from Gerver bby foods.

You have an interesting doctor, he must get a lot of kickbacks from companies for his advice. I served table foods, my three rarely had any commercial baby food, 'toddler food', or runny puree.

I served very soft foods they could self feed and gum chew (baby led weaning)(served like the size of a french fry so they can easily hold the food). This included meats at this age.

If you are not that adventurous! you can even just serve baby cooked veggies or soft fruits that you fork mash. For example I would make boiled sweet potatoes for the family, and take about chunk of one and fork mash for baby. No making tons of food and freezing. I just served the lil one what we were having for dinner (without the added salts, fats, or sugars). You can add some breast milk or formula if your lil one likes smoother puree.

He should also be eating Gerber Stage 2 meats.

At that age both my kids were eating finger foods (usually pieces of my normal meals) and very little baby food. Pieces of toast, small chunks of soft fruits and veggies, shredded meats, cheerios, stuff like that.

You can also give him the baby rice cereal or oatmeal.
