Michigan State University or University of Arkansas and why?

Both schools are out of state for me. Recentally I went to U of Alabama and Auburn to tour the campus. I liked the size and generally the area in and around Tuscaloosa. I didn't like Auburn for a couple of reasons one being the area it was in was too small town for me. Also the University of Arkansas at Fayettville.

Neither. You can almost certainly get as good an education for much less money at your own state university. Only in the case of very unusual majors which cannot be pursued later in graduate school is it worthwhile to attend an out of state public undergraduate university.
