    Snow, ice, rugged mountains, steep valleys, deep lakes and fjords, a lot of offshore natural gas production.

    Further to the other answers Norway is known as "The Land of the Midnight Sun".

    This is because in midsummer in the Northern hemisphere, in the north of Norway, the sun never sets - there is 24 hours of daylight.

    Fish. Oh! and petroleum. Almost forgot. UK and Norway are the two western European countries producing the most petroleum. Some sites will tell you it's the UK and others say it's Norway.

    Sardines, herring, all kinds of fish.
