Where can I find a very old dictionary definition of a word?
I'm writing a story that takes place in the late 18th century, and there's a scene where a character is reading the definition of a word. Obviously, I need the definition to sound like it came out of a really old dictionary, not a modern one. I'm stumped... where can I find something like this?

Google Books. Just search for "dictionary" in the time slot you want.
Here's one: A General Dictionary of the English Language, Thomas Sheridan, 1780 http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=mCY-AAAAcAAJ&dq...
