Please follow the steps below to solve this problem:
•VERIFY THE BROTHER MACHINE IS POWERD ON AND THERE ARE NO ERRORS
•MAKE SURE YOUR BROTHER MACHINE IS SET AS DEFAULT PRINTER
•DELETE ALL PRINTER JOBS
•CHECK THE PRINTER STATUS
•IF THE PROBLEM STILL CONTINUES?
VERIFY THE BROTHER MACHINE IS POWERD ON AND THERE ARE NO ERRORS
1.If the LCD screen is blank, then the Brother machine may not be powered on, check the machine to see if it wakes from sleep mode. If it does not, then verify that it is plugged into a working outlet and any power switches are turned to the ON position.
2.Check the LCD screen for any error messages. An example would be "Paper Jam" or Ink/Toner Empty". If the LCD screen shows an error troubleshoot to clear the issue indicated.
MAKE SURE YOUR BROTHER MACHINE IS THE DEFAULT PRINTER
If the printer driver does not set "default printer", you can not print. Make sure your Brother machine is default printer. If your brother machine is not default printer, set it as default printer.
Open the printer folder and verify the check mark is on your Brother machine.
Click Start => Printers and Faxes
Click Start => Control Panel => Hardware and Sound => Printers
Click Start => Devices and Printers
