Old kids troll movie?

When I was younger I watched a movie about what I believed to be trolls. There were multiple ones and a human boy and girl that were in the beginning or something. I think the trolls were puppets but I know it wasn't Trollies Musical Adventure.

Are you sure they were puppets? It sounds like the animated Don Bluth movie "A Troll in Central Park" 1994 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108395/
