How to teach yourself to play the bass?
I want to learn to play the bass guitar without having to go to lessons. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance
I'm starting as a complete beginner and I need to learn even the absolute basics.

I play guitar and I started of at school when the music teacher handed us a sheet of guitar chords and once in awhile made us play something like old macdonald and then i just played those thing over and over and over because that's all i knew then i realized i could use the holy grail of all knowledge, the internet, but mostly just youtube, there's like a million different lessons on there and also all over the internet, usually one new discovery seems to lead to another discovery so just let that natural thing happen.
Good Luck!
