Most people want "legal" to also be "fair" or "reasonable". They're not. As long as you aren't firing somebody for an illegal reason (sex, age, race, etc) you don't even need to have a reason. You aren't owed a job and your boss doesn't have to have a "good" reason to fire you.

It's certainly unfair, but it is legal for some reason.
Almost all states have labor laws that define employment as being "at will" for both employer and employee, meaning that either side can terminate employment at any time with or without cause.

I don't think this is acceptable because the boss was attracted to her not the other way around.she did nothing wrong to get fired
