Your Open Question: Is it illegal to wear a thong bikini on Long Island? (Or anywhere in the us?)?

On Long Island and at Coney Island thongs are probably acceptatble. The only place I know of on the east coast that strictly forbids them is Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. If and when I go there I just leave the Malibu String in the drawer at home.

Don't think it would go over to well at a family beach, but if you Go to Robert Moses clothing optional beach it would be OK,, also I think Gilgore beach as well,

What I'd do is this, wear the thong under a pair of shorts, take along a conventional bottom in a beach bag and if you have to, just change suit bottoms as necessary.
