When is the deadline to qualifty for the 2016 Olympic Trials?

When is the last day to qualifty for the 2016 Olympic Trials? For track and field?

It doesn't appear that USATF has set that yet.

Traditionally it's been around mid- or late-May, often coordinated with the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

However, if you're aiming for the marathon, the Trials for that are in the late winter or early spring, so you'll have to qualify for that maybe 8 months before the Trials -- no one can run a qualifying time at the NYC Marathon in November, then do the Trials in, say, February.
