How do farmers sell their goods?

If they have a small - medium size farm, where do they sell them? Ik farmers are 1 way to go but do they go there and start selling or is their a process, i'm talking about selling raw milk, eggs, meat, corn, bread(wheat), etc.

    Most of them have contracts with food manufactures. In order to get in on this business, you must be able to provide them with the amounts they need. I don't know how big your farm is, but if you want to sell vegetables to Campbell's soup, that's a big deal and usually only large corporate farming companies can meet the specifications to bid for this business.

    If yours is a small farm. you can sell your goods at farmer's markets, or local companies or restaurants.
