Name for a female character?

Sort of a Victorian-ish, steampunky setting. She used to be a governess, then the children she took care of died in a horrific fire. It snapped her mind and now she's crazy; she has a doll named Molly she believes is real--she'll 'hear' it cry and such (I'm debating about having it be possessed by a baby's ghost, or purely her imagination). She's very kind and sweet and used to be very smart, but is now spacy and feather-headed. She was blamed for the children's death by the parents and is homeless, and friends with/looked after by a man named Vasili.

I've considered Asa, Meistra, Claudia, and Lucy as names, but none seem to fit. Any ideas?
