20 L of chlorine gas at stp in moles?

    @ stp 1 mol = 22.4 L

    so the its 22.4 L/mol @stp

    if 20 L @ stp

    then just 20 L / (22.4 L/mol)

    0.893 mol

    NOTICE: mol comes to the top because it is in the denominator of the denominator and the litres cancel out

    20 liters chlorine / 22.4 liters/mole =

    0.893 moles, although with correct sig figs,

    that's 0.9 moles.
