Cloud computing is a colloquial expression used to describe a variety of different computing concepts that involve a large number of computers that are connected through a real-time communication network (typically the Internet). Cloud computing is a jargon term without a commonly accepted non-ambiguous scientific or technical definition. In science, cloud computing is a synonym for distributed computing over a network and means the ability to run a program on many connected computers at the same time. The popularity of the term can be attributed to its use in marketing to sell hosted services in the sense of application service provisioning that run client server software on a remote location.

It basically the internet. It details how things are handled over the internet at server thousands of miles away from the current location. For example the Xbox One uses cloud computing to render the games as long as its connected to the internet. It can load a huge area in seconds cause you have these other servers (big computers connected to the internet) helping it. Cloud computing can also be when a file or project is worked on at the same time by multiple people over the internet. Like Microsoft Word allows you to share a file with several different people and all those people can work on the document as the same time as you.

Let's say you're an executive at a large corporation. Your particular responsibilities include making sure that all of your employees have the right hardware and software they need to do their jobs. Buying computers for everyone isn't enough -- you also have to purchase software or software licenses to give employees the tools they require. Whenever you have a new hire, you have to buy more software or make sure your current software license allows another user. It's so stressful that you find it difficult to go to sleep on your huge pile of money every night.

Soon, there may be an alternative for executives like you. Instead of installing a suite of software for each computer, you'd only have to load one application. That application would allow workers to log into a Web-based service which hosts all the programs the user would need for his or her job. Remote machines owned by another company would run everything from e-mail to word processing to complex data analysis programs. It's called cloud computing.

Cloud computing is a great web technology that helps you to store and share your data like songs, images movies and files through a box. Cloud computing provide a box where you can drop your sharing data which you want to share with other who are connected with you with that box. In another word cloud computing is really very nice IT based software and helps to go with green.

Cloud computing is a topic that many find confusing. It isn’t, though, as confusing as it sounds. In fact, most of those who claim not to understand the subject are part of the majority that use it daily.

A server farm that can provide scalable capacity on demand to multiple subscribers for multiple applications, and is typically built using a bunch of Linux virtual machines. If your app is heavily used it can be load balanced across multiple servers, and if one physical server fails the VM can dynamically be moved to another server, so users have a fault tolerant experience.
