How do i keep my 360 waves when i'm wolfing?

Well i been growing my hair for 5 weeks and i got my hair trim a week ago and i wouldn't to know is trimming my hair going to make me lose my progress because i want deep waves

    Wolfing is the only way to get your waves deeper. You have to grow your hair longer than you normally would without getting it cut. To help it lay down when it's long, be sure to wear a durag or wave cap and try a strong pomade like Deep Wave.

    You do have to get it trimmed every few weeks though. Don't get it cut too low, or you will lose your progress. A good cut to get when you're wolfing is with a #2.5 guard. Make sure the barber cuts it WTG--with the grain. It's the same direction you brush. If he doesn't cut it that way, it'll be too low.
