Why is coolant leaking in my engine.?
And what damage is it doing to my car

the coolant is leaking inside your engine because you have a head or intake gasket leaking ! it can cause a lot of damage if the antifreeze gets around the bearings !

You had a bad head gasket in the engine. Coolant has higher pressure than oil, travels thru and open gasket and enters the engine.

When asking automotive questions how about listing the year make and model of the car. At that time we could give you a pretty good guess where and why it's leakingSource(s): Alignment, suspension and brake shop.
