How do you find the area of a sector?

The angle is 70 degrees and a side length is 6 cm. Im on homebound so I didn't get to learn this.

    the area of the entire circle is pi*r^2. so the area of any sector is just the equivalent fraction of the area.

    the full circle is 360 degrees. so the area fraction is equivalent to 70/360 times the total area.

    A = theta/360 * pi * r^2

    A = 70/360 * pi * 6^2 = 7pi
