    By train -

The nearest station is in Roselle Park, NJ which is just north of Roselle, NJ.

You can take a NJ Transit train (Raritan Valley Line) to Newark Penn Station (usually arrives on track 5) and then transfer to a NY Penn Station bound NJ Transit train [N.E. Corridor line or NJ Coast Line] (usually on track 1 or 2).

One way fare to NY Penn Station $7.25

Timetable: Raritan Valley Line - http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/rail/r0060.pdf

You can also get PATH (separate fare from NJ Transit) at Newark Penn Station to get to midtown Manhattan (33rd St & 6th Av) - take the World trade Center train and transfer at Journal Square for the 33rd St train or stay on the train to World Trade Center for lower Manhattan.

NJT one-way train fare to Newark Penn $3.25. PATH fare $2.25

    By bus (NJ Transit)

Take a NJ Transit #112 bus from 2nd Av & Chestnut St in Roselle to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (41st St & 8th Av). One way fare is $6.50.

    Timetable for #112 bus http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/bus/T0112.pdf

There may be other bus stops in Roselle for the #112. It is best to call NJ Transit and ask them - 1-973-275-5555.
