    5/3(1/2x - 5) = 3x + 15

    (Multiply by 3)

    5(1/2x - 5) = 9x + 45

    (Distribute the 5)

    5x/2 - 25 = 9x + 45

    (Subtract 9x from both sides, and add 25)

    5x/2 - 9x = 45 + 25

    (Factor out the x)

    x(5/2 - 9) = 70

    x(-13/2) = 70

    (Multiply by -2 and divide by 13)

    x = -140/13
