Sad about christianity and afterlife?

For a while now, I've moved away from Christianity because I simply don't understand how some magical being can be there. There's no evidence or anything, I just don't think it's possible. I'm sad because I don't see how heaven can be there, which makes death look like a cold nothingness for me. I wish I could believe in god, but I just don't see how I can.. help?

Calling God a magical being is coming from the typical atheist ideology of today. What they are saying is this: If God is real and could do all those things, then we are the judge because our reality is the only thing we can justify life being real as. Understand? It's saying that even though we don't know everything about the universe and what's in it, we are counting out any possibility of God being a greater part of the universe and reality.

In other words, it's coming from poisonous words from ignorant people. If God wants you, he will get your attention.

I used to have the same issue, not believing because I'd rather look at the scientific approach. However, I began to look into near death experience stories and mediums and such, so many stories being so alike! It can't be some coincidence that the thousands of stories are fake.

If you don't believe in God then you believe that something suddenly came from nothing and then arranged itself entirely by chance into wondrous perfection.

If you find that easier to believe thhan God and his creation - then go for it. I don't have that much faith in such nonsense. And science says that it is impossible.

Psa 14:1 [[To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David.]] The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God.

When you first believed in God, were you seeking for proof of His existence or did you move by faith?

God is spirit, you cannot see Him. But He did communicate with man through His holy prophets, His written word, i.e The Bible, and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Today he dwells in us by faith when we are born by His spirit. Then we can experience His love, peace and joy more than if we could literraly handle them

When you die You simply wake up into your actual reality.

You look around at the vivid and beautiful reality around you and you realize that the drab material dream that you had, was just a dream and you are happy to be free of it.

You call a couple of friends and meet them for coffee and tell them all about the crazy dream you just had.

Some people have been given real visions of heaven and/or hell or experienced one of them in near death experiences. These three videos show examples. The last link is a test you can do to see where you are currently headed.

Dont be very sad. god is there for you. It seems that you are much affected by the thoughts of atheists and materialists around you. You have to go back to God and try just as you can to pray to Him asking Him the gift of faith and he will Surely grant it to you as he did to me. he is Good. he is your father.

You can't believe in someone you don't know. Get to know him through a study of the Bible (not a study of religion). This will definitely help you.
