a) What is the linear speed of the blade tip?, in m/s ?
b) What is the radial acceleration of the blade tip
expressed as a multiple of the acceleration of gravity, g?

(a) 550 rev/min = 550 x 2.pi/60 rad/s = 57.6 rad/s
Linear speed of blade tip = 57.6 x 3.4 m/s = 196 m/s
(b) Radial acceleration
= 3.4 x 57.6^2 m/s^2 = 11280 m/s^2
