Do the French and Arabs in Djibouti speak Somali?

Question

I know that French and Arabic are the Official Languages of Djibouti and that almost all of the Somalis there understand one of the two. But I have always wondered of the French and there understand Somali? Can anyone answer this question. I plan on going to Somalia sometime in the future but not anytime soon. Djibouti is a lot safer so I might go there first instead.

Most of them probably understand it, and a good deal of them can speak it.
