Do cons understand that they often pretend bush left office with a balanced budget?

In order to blame obama for all debt from the accumulated (R) created deficit.

Do they realize that?

The ONLY way to falsely blame obama for "7 trillion in debt" is to pretend there was a balanced budget when Obama took office.

  • Obama took office after 2 years of Democrat/Obama budgets.

The last BUSH/GOP budget was $160 billion in deficit and featured FALLING deficits - just one more year from SURPLUS.

Thus, the STATUS QUO antiObama, left in place through the present, would have us now 6 years into SURPLUS with a TOTAL NATIONAL DEBT of under $8 trillion - and falling. So, yeah, Democrats/Obama pretty-much wholly CAUSED every cent of debt above $8 trillion and ALL of the deficits for the last 6 years.

Obama raised spending by $900,000,000,000.00 when he came into office. If that did not happen we would not have 7 trillion in debt would we.

Lets see that spending level time 4.5 years is about 4 trillion plus the stimulus another 900 billion that gets us pretty close to 5 trillion. This is a direct result of obama incompetence as said so by Obama himself.

We know it wasn't balanced, but it was coming down until the last 2 years when Pelosi took over as speaker and they didn't pass a budget and kept running through spending without doing a budget for bush to sign. If you check the figures, you see I am correct and that Pelosi added 2 trillion to the deficit, not Bush.

Do the libbies pretend that there was a Democratic controlled congress the last two years of his term? And that Obama still cannot get the spending under control?

Do you realize that all of the communist (yeah, call it social if it makes you sleep better at night) programs cost more than any of the wars?

Nope. Because your votes are being purchased with my tax money.

Nice try. But obviously blaming Bush for Obama's reckless spending isn't going to accomplish any more than making you look pathetic and desperate.

5 years into the Obama Administration. You can't blame Bush anymore, buddy.

Do libs forget that Bush was unpopular with conservatives, as well as democrats when he left office? Bush had a 22% approval rating when he left. You don't have an approval rating that low with just members of the opposite party being upset at you.
