What's the difference between being nice and phony nice?

    i do not do phony i feel the difference is honesty and heart felt i try to follow if i cant say something nice don't say anything because i do have a side that sees threw the b/s and a mouth to back it up and i do not want to be the person the hurts another person well i strive to be that way but you and i both know i could be better at it but there are some things you just can not but laugh at

    Being nice is genuine.

    Being phony nice is just acting like you're nice, most likely in order to get something.

    Nice is being sincere and caring.

    Phony nice is just being polite and not really meaning it.

    Being phony nice is faking pretending to be nice. Being nice means just being nice. You aren't faking it

    being nice is genuinely caring for others, being phony nice is usually something that one does when they have a hidden agenda
