Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker one last time sounds like a legendary match-up. The match sounds good, but I'm not so sure about how the build-up would be. See, I know long time fans like you and I would kill to see this match-up. Hell, we wouldn't even care about any pre-match promo's between these two guys, as long as they back it up in the ring. But to many younger fans, Stone Cold Steve Austin was just a good wrestler before they were born. How do you hype up an 8 year old about Stone Cold Steve Austin? There are ways, but not as easy as if the match was John Cena vs. Undertaker. Another factor is the build-up to the match. Austin was one of the most brutal characters on TV, and with the ratings and the way buisness is conducted in WWE today, it wouldn't be the same Steve Austin we're familiar with. Even when he guest hosted Raw, he said an interview, " The only thing Stone Cold Steve Austin was the beers, and I'm surprised I even got to do that." Despite Steve Austin's watered down character and not a single stunner, Raw got a 3.7 rating, which is one of the most highest rated Raws this year. Basically the answer is both yes and no. Children don't know what to think of Steev Austin, Adults go crazy for him, so the children just follow the adults. Although John Cena vs. Undertaker is only a matter of time, Steve Austin vs. Undertaker is a rare oppurtunity that should be taken. BQ: Honestly, I don't see the Miz dropping the United States Championship. I could possibly see him uniting the United States championship to the WWE Championship, and having the million dollar championship as the new mid-carder belt. That's one option I would consider, or I would have him lose the United States Championship when Sheamus distracts him, as WWE has taken that root many times before to drop the midcard belt off of a main-event star. I would have him drop it to Evan Bourne because I think he is ready for a single's title in WWE.
