How to hatch eggs at home;)?
- ~~Birdy~~Lv 77 years agoBest Answer
I used to raise cockatiels. I would let the birds do the work on the incubation and hatching.

First of all if the eggs are not fertile they won't hatch. Then you need a hen to sit on them and if it's not
a sitting hen, that is wanting to sit then it won't stay with the eggs. Or an incubator to do the warming.
Put about five hens and a rooster together, to begin with.
The eggs will be fertile.
The hen will sit on them for about 21 days, before the chicks come out.
It's kind of messy, I guess.

I think you can hatch an egg from the fridge if you build a nest from blankets and stuff but put it under s lamp.

Buy a hen and make her sit on egg it will definatly hatch soon .Source(s): firstname.lastname@example.org
You can't. Eggs which are produced by hens alone are supplied for eating purpose, they are actually hen's period, the egg with chick is the one which had a little contribution of rooster (male hen) along with hen in it.....if you know what I mean ;)
