How does the heat and the cold affect you as you age?

    As I get older, I appreciate the heat much more than I used to. My joints do not like the cold at all.

    I do not know yet.

    I think both heat and cold would effect ones comfort as we age because the built in thermal control does not work as well. Some people would be bothered by cold while others would be bothered by heat.

    I think the body mass impacts the body's ability to deal with cold and heat.

    I can tolerate the heat more and the cold bothers me a bit more than it used to. I guess this is what they mean when they say your blood gets thinner with age.

    I still like colder weather better than hot weather though.

    Except for my knuckles getting stiff in the cold I don't have the

    usual problems. My body reacts the same as it did when I

    was in my late 20s early 30s

    Same as always. for me. But everyone is different. Hate sweaty heat ! In shower constantly ! Cold like it,it's cuddly.

    The heat makes my feet swell so big I have to buy bigger shoes and the cold makes my joints ache.

    Younalways feel cold To the point where you could be on fire and you might still be cold

    All I know is that women in menopause have a problem tolerating heat

    older people are cold most of the time.

    I love being wrapped under the mink pile blanket at night. It makes me sleep really well.
