Exploring different genres. What are some of the 21 century artists & theyre to you "classic" albums?

Started with listening to only rap for a few years now in my 20s open to listen to all that might entertain my ears.

Do me a favor and don't come at me with Michael Jackson, The Beatles, 2Pac & other stuff like that... I know they're some of the greatest & have critically acclaimed albums but I'm only looking for modern "personal" favorite &/or classic albums... I know all the old classic albums & yeah... i know music used to be better but that's not what this is about.

To me:

Hip-hop:

"Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy"

(Best production of the 21st century, classic to many & said to be his best)

"Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid M.a.a.d City"

(One of the modern rap albums. To me perfect from concept, themes, lyrics, flow & as a whole.)

Rock:

"Paramore - Brand New Eyes"

Funny how i got Into this band just recently I love Hayley & rock/alternative like THAT in general (tempo's not too slow & not too fast for me either)

Pop:

"Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart"

(Can't say how much I love this woman. She barely sings about love & when she does she doesn't do these typical love songs. Has very good concepts & meaning in her songs. Awesome songwriting & especially production. It has that "electro pop flavor" without sounding like Flo Rida, Pitbull & what else is on the radio today. Plus she can sing for real. Got many acclaimed acoustic versions on youtube.

RnB:

"Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE"

(classic RnB album, not just to me but also acclaimed by most critics. Awesome voice. The production is very good, doesn't have too many love songs, rather has MANY other different themes from singing about a spoiled white kid, telling a story about a crack addict, how he fell in love with a stripper etc.

As i said those are just my personal favorites & know not many will love these as much as I do but you may give em a listen.

I'd appreciate some suggestions to what you think i might like/love.

Sidenote: I don't like stuff groups such as Radiohead, OK Computer, Kid A etc. where too slow for me and i just couldn't vibe to it.

I love Radiohead, but I'll try to avoid those kinds of artists for you...

I would try Lana Del Rey's album if you haven't already heard it.

"The Open Door" by Evanescence for many reasons. It's such a deep and somber album, and my favorite of theirs.

"Halcyon" by Ellie Goulding. This album is an absolute masterpiece, and I hope for it to be remembered for days to come. It gives me hope that not all modern music is despicable.

    "Ultra Blue" by Utada Hikaru.

    "Elephant" by the White Stripes.

    "Just Push Play" by Aerosmith.

    "Dark Passion Play" by Nightwish.

    "The Divine Conspiracy" by Epica.

    "American Idiot" by Green Day

I haven't really fallen in love with their new album, but basically anything put out in the past by Fall Out Boy is great in my opinion.

I and Love and You by the Avett Brothers.
