Nobody can be truly free if you cannot trust the government to be honest

they try their best to catch the cheaters. some business practices are "automatic" red flags for audits, and it is not a secret that is so. i used to be a television program producer, so i got audited the maximum times allowed (once every 3 years, if there is no fault). in my humble opinion, the agents that look at organizations with "Democratic", "Republican" or even "Tea Party" as part of their name and file for a tax exempt status only granted to non-political groups, are entitled to take that as an audit flag. an audit cannot collect if there is no error in the return, so i say no harm, no foul. And if these groups were not trying to game the system, they can enjoy 2 audit free years to come.

Trash it and start over from scratch. It's too far gone and too corrupt to even bother trying to fix it.
