"Desired salary" is how much money you would like to make. Yes, you could put $100/hr, but they will never call you for an interview. You don't get to choose how much you get paid, the management team at the store will do that, but you get to put down what you'd like to make. If you have experience in this field, then feel free to put down something higher than minimum wage. If this is your first job, then you probably want to put minimum wage or they will likely not be interested in you. You can always put something like "negotiable" in that field as well.
