The only bill you do mention is the rent. A year has 12 months and your rent is $1000.

So you will need at least $12,000 for that. Minimum wage varies from State to State. Assuming the $8 an hour for CA your gross paycheck is around $640 a month..... so maybe $500 after taxes?

Using the $500 a month your yearly income is another $6000. Add that to the $7680 you have saved... your yearly income is at $13680.

No landlord will rent you a $1000 apartment when you only have $13,680 to your name for a yearly income. They want you to bring home 3 to 4 times the rent per month.

There is simply nothing to budget with.... you can't afford the $1000 a month rental. PERIOD
