whats the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit?

better performance? more compatibility? im honestly not sure

    32 bit you can only have up to 4gb of ram 64 bit you can have up to 32gb of ram so 64 bit is better but might not run with all old school games.

    There is a 32 bit difference. Most computers use and are fine with 32 bit operating systems. ^4 bit PC's are for heavy business or gaming use where more than 4 gb of RAM is required.

    Most modern processors are 64 bit processors which for the average user means only that they are faster (they can also address incredible amounts of memory but that's something else). Unfortunately although Microsoft say they use the 64 bits, most of their software doesn't, so any performance increase is minimal.
