Please help me solve: (1/8-1/y)/(8-y/8)?
I know that when you divide by a fraction you actually multiply by its reciprocal but then I am lost. I need a common denominator, which is 8-y, but do I multiply each term by 8-y or do I just pick the parts that are missing? I am confused!! Thanks for any help.

(1/8 - 1/y) / ((8 - y) / 8) =>
(y - 8) * 8 / (8y * (8 - y)) =>
-8 / (8y) =>
