Do LPN's work in a doctor's office where it can be in a setting with closing hours?

Or do they usually work in hospitals? Just wondering where they usually get hired, like in a rehab facility, hospital, or do they get hired in a private doctors office too?

It costs less to employ an LPN / LVN in an outpatient office than a registered nurse. But mostly medical assistants are employed instead because they make even less money.

They are used in rehab hospital, nursing home, and home health. In larger hospitals, such as a medical center, they are being phased out and replaced by registered nurses instead.
