What would be a good haircut for me?

I have thick, mildly wavy hair and an oval face shape. It's more straight than wavy but it has a little bit of wave in it. Anyway, it's to my shoulders now and I DON'T want to go any shorter. I'm going to get it trimmed in a week or two and I was thinking about maybe getting something done to it to give it more volume. My problem is that I can't use any product in my hair (other than shampoo and conditioner) because it gives me a disgusting rash around my hairline. ): I'm also in the process of growing out my bangs (they're to the bottom of my ear now). Suggestions? Thanks!
