Would squirrels make good pets?
Just found this website http://memeblender.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/... & the squirrel looks really cute & good as a pet, so would squirrels make good pets or is this one a notable exception because it was intensively hand reared from a very young age?

They are great while they are babies, but when they are adult they get too flighty to keep indoors. Most people that raise baby squirrels teach them how to forage outside and keep them in a protected area away from cars, dogs, and cats. As adults they will come up for food, but if you try to touch them they WILL bite you. You don't pet an adult squirrel whether it has been hand raised or not. Big teeth.Source(s): DVM

When i was a kid, my neighbor had one and it was really sweet and all. It was a great pet, but it was raised almost from birth.
So yeah i believe you would need to get it as a baby for that...
But i can tell you they are awesome if you do get one.So cute and so sweet.
And if you can not find a baby one.
Then go and buy maybe a sugar glider(flying squirrel). It is almost the same, i guess...
