Are there any particular philosophies/philosophers that I should look into?

I believe life is what it is - we should accept things as they come along.

Basically, everything has a reason for happening - although not really a "planned out" reason, but kind of like natural selection, except with everything.

"Even artificial selection is natural selection" and to accept everything as it is because it's natural. It's hard to explain, all I can do is hope that you all understand it.

Since you seem to have a hankering for logical philosophy, you might want to study Aristotle's logic. Usually you can learn it best if you study philosophy in college. When I took it it was called PHIL106 (I think.)

I don't abide by it on a personal level but it is a prerequisite for Info Tech classes since most computer programming is based off of his conditional statements.

"Everything is as it should be" is the saying of Pangloss.
