Fundamentalists- which birth narrative of Jesus is the literally true one, Matthew or Luke's?
Matthew- Wisemen, star, Jesus born at home, flight to Egypt
Luke- Shepherds, angels, born in a stable, no flight to Egypt

(Luke did not state Jesus did NOT go to Egypt , neither did Matthew state he was BORN at "home" (which by the way is "where the heart is..")**
Matthew & Luke (combined) = born in a stable, Shepherds, angels, --- > (time laps about 2 years later ) ---> star, wisemen, (Mary and Joseph living in a HOUSE "home") flight to Egypt
Hope that helps,

Shhhhh! Most Christians only know Matthew's "genealogy" of Jesus, not Luke's! And you missed the fact that Luke seems to trace Jesus' family tree back to -- ADAM AND EVE, FFS.

Both. Two entirely different personalities told the same story and both versions are accurate. Have you ever set in a court of law? If you had, you would know exactly what is happening in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Four entirely different men telling the exact same story except only as they saw it.
