Are you on the same side as Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Lincoln, Ghandi and MLK Jr?

What did these men in have in common? They all supported the individual right to bear arms.

By contrast, what do King George the III, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Kim Jong Un, Barack Obama and Diane Feinstein all have in common? They believe that THEY have the right to defend themselves with weapons, but YOU don't.

Which side are you on?

Update:

For the naysayers who think King was against guns, you're wrong. King was an avid supporter of ALL civil rights, he did not pick and choose. He was consistently denied the right to a carry permit and fought vehemently against it:

King was a gun owner. In fact, he had a few guns–one visitor to the King family home described King’s supply of weapons as an “armory.”

Additionally, William Worthy, a journalist who covered the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, reported that he almost sat on a loaded gun while visiting King’s parsonage.

King had also applied for a concealed carry permit, but was turned down. According to John M. Snyder:

“At one time, King applied for a permit to carry a concealed handgun, but was denied. He was concerned for his personal safety, just as are a lot of law-abiding American citizens. “

Even though King’s house had just been bombed, his application for the concealed carry permit was still rejected. Few people in the US needed a permit to carry mor

Update 2:

Few people in the US needed a permit to carry more than Reverend King did in 1956, but since the local police had some discretion in their decision making, King, who no doubt met the requirements of the law, was rejected nonetheless. This was the norm when the applicant was black.

I'll stand with the 2nd Amendment alongside Washington, Jefferson, etc...thank you.

And you forgot to mention King Bloomberg of NYC who has a heavily armed security detail everywhere he goes but wants the common man completely defenseless against murderers, rapists, gang bangers, drug dealers, thieves and other assorted crooks and bums.

    But enough about Obama supporters........

You need to take a history class.

Hitler increased the rights of German citizens to bear arms. Obama and Feinstein have never challenged the right to bear arms.

You are on the side of ignorance. The rest of us are on the side of America.

Since when did Ghandi promote gun ownership? I thought he would've opposed guns, since he was a pacifist.

Martin Luther King Jr. was not a Republican, his father was.

    Another right wing lie.

I do believe Ghandi and MLK Jr. did indeed support gun ownership, before they were shot to death!

The first one, and also we all know that if Jesus had a gun, then maybe things might have turned out differently for that nefarious Judas and that backstabbing Peter, and those Romans too. FACT.

Perhaps if you asked MLK now, he might have a different opinion.

Lincoln, Ghandi and MLK Jr all died of gunshot wounds.

50% is not a good average.
