I want a computer will be able to play games on high performance and wil be able to get upgraded in the future. I really like the size and the new processor that x51 has.

The lower cost one is the obvious buy.

For a lower cost you get a much better hard-drive (access times of ssd's are under a ms and traditional hard-drives are many many many times that which makes a difference in loading times of a game...which really matters if you want to play load heavy games like skyrim/dragon age/fallout (just to name a few...and you will really see a difference here in loading times.)

Furthurmore, the difference in processor speed here is very negligible and since the graphics cards are the same both pc's should give right near the same FPS in game (differing by i'd say maybe only as much as 2 or 3...if that much really)

Lastly, the first option is slimmer, this is both a pro and a con (pro because it is easier to find space for it...which matters if you have a desk that has a slot for a tower, and con because heat dispersion is going to be less in this model than the other.) I'll let you decide if either of these things are important to you since I do not know your situation (what desk you have etc.)

TL;DR....Buy the cheaper one it is both better and cheaper...which is a win.

    because-

    1. Cheaper!

    2. "For a limited time save 15%. This X51 delivers the best living room gaming experience yet with 256 SSD and optional Windows 8 upgrade."

Both those PCs are great, really either one would cut most modern games. But you could build a computer with the same parts for A LOT cheaper.

they're alienware. don't touch either of them; they're cheaply constructed and EXTREMELY overpriced for what you get.

I would suggest custom-building your desktop. you will save a LOT of money and will have full control over what parts go into it.
