Masashi Kishimoto is the writer of Naruto manga~

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masashi_Kishimoto

Kishimoto was born in the Okayama Prefecture, Japan in 1974. He gained early acclaim with his work Karakuri. Later in 1997 he would develop an early incarnation of Naruto for Akamaru Jump. The manga would formally begin in 1999 in Weekly Shonen Jump, gaining a large fan following. Kishimoto is not alone in drawing the series, he has assistants who share various drawing duties. These individuals are:

Kazuhiro Takuhashi - Focuses on solid blacks in hair and clothing, fills in the half-tone areas and completes the background art.

Osamu Kazisa - Works similar to Takuhashi, also good at creating speedlines, special effects and plant-life.

Mikio Ikemoto - Works on crowds and background figures, also adds white to speed lines, characters eyes and highlights. Also cleans up the page by whiting out any art which goes out of the panel. Also adds in half-tones.

Takemi Kawahara - Has a hand in most everything in the drawing process.

Masashi Kishimoto (岸本斉史, Kishimoto Masashi) born November 8, 1974 in Okayama Prefecture Japan, is the creator and author of the popular manga and anime Naruto. He debuted as a mangaka (Japanese cartoonist) with his work Karakuri, which was submitted to Shueisha in 1996. Beginning in 1999, his next work Naruto was serialised in the Weekly Shōnen Jump manga magazine. Kishimoto had received the Hop Step Award, which is given to new artists once a month by Shonen Jump. He also says that he was heavily influenced by the Dragonball series and its creator, Akira Toriyama.

His twin brother Seishi Kishimoto is also a mangaka and the creator of 666 Satan and Blazer Drive. Their art has been remarked on as being very similar and accusations of plagiarism were made, either that Seishi had copied his brother or vice versa. However, Seishi notes in one of his manga volumes that the similarities are not intentional and that the occurrence would have been likely because both he and Masashi have been influenced by many of the same things. Masashi Kishimoto has publicly dismissed these accusations in his own manga.

In his interviews and exclusively in the Naruto manga, he commonly mentions his deceased plant, Ukki-kun.[1] According to Kishimoto, the first time he had an office plant, due to missing the country atmosphere, he fed it undiluted plant food. He continued purchasing several other plants afterwards, but many of them perished.[

The creator of Naruto is the author of the manga, Masashi Kishimoto. The anime is produced by Studio Pierrot and Aniplex, so Kishimoto doesn't have full control over what the anime does, but I believe he does have some input.

It hasn't been confirmed yet within the series but it is STRONGLY believed that the 4th hokage is naruto's father. Well initially look at their appearances. The have the same hair eyes and even smile. They even have simalr moves, like their summoning jutsu for illustration. The 4th hokage's was once the only different ninja equipped to make use of that summoning jutsu. It said on the scroll "Arashi Uzumaki", which is one other cause to belive he's correctly his father. And then there may be the itachi thing. In episodes around eighty he advised Kakashi he is after the 4th's LEGACY. They replied by means of asking what they desired with naruto, a different intent to beleive he is his father.

    "~sasuke", you serious?...

The writers name is Masashi Kishimoto. Japanese manga are usually drawn and written by one person, of course, there are assistants, but they have nothing to do with the writing or the essence of the scenes.
