I Got a check from jpmorgan chase is this legit?

Apparently there was a class action case against the bank, And they made a 300 dollar check payable to me. Not sure if its legitimate but the only proof i found in the internet that it may actually be legit is this article by usa today, were the banks apparently started sending out checks 2 weeks ago as part of their settlement.

Yes they are doing that because it happened to me to. If you banked with chase before its probably real. I mean it's possible it may be a fake somehow but I know they are really doing that.
