You'll find one of these with your nearest BYB. Don't!! Mix breeding like this is a no-no. Why? Because there is no regulation, no Breed Standard, no testing, just producing puppies with one aim in mind - making MONEY. Logic will tell you that using pet stock, which BYBs will be using, will only produce more pet stock, with all the faults both breeds have. These pets were most likely sold without the intention that they would ever be bred from because they had a fault or two that made their breeder reject them from their final selection. Ie. Not the best of the litter.
You would do far better to locate a reputable breeder of either the Golden Retriever, or the Yellow Labrador (there is no such animal as a Golden Labrador - they come in 3 colours, Yellow, Black or Chocolate). Contact the relevant Breed Club and ask for the names of known good breeders.
Unless you adopt from a Shelter, please don't contribute to the income of the BYB.
Add - Please don't shun ALL breeders out of hand as has been suggested here. All puppies deserve good homes, and provided you buy from somebody who is doing it right, there's absolutely nothing wrong in buying a well-bred sound puppy, if you want a specific look or a dog for a specific purpose.

you can't find any because they don't exist.
a "Goldador" is BYB mutt with a fancy label and overpriced price tag. Their only called "Goldadors" to make people think their buying some fancy breed. For example, you wouldn't pay 800quid if it was advertised as a mutt, would you?
"please don't say from a shelter" - well, I afraid the only place you should buy a mutt is at a shelter, as you would be supporting the shelter and not the BYB scum responsible for the dog ending up in there in teh first place.
either you get a purebred Labrador or a purebred golden retriever from a reputable breeder or rescue a lab x golden from a shelter. NO reputable breeder breeds mutts because they have no propose in being bred.
Please don't use the Riduclous BYB term "Goldador" - its either mutt, mongrel, lab mix, golden mix, or lab cross golden.
reputable breeders aren't the reason for "dog overpopulation" - its BYBS, puppy mills, and irresponsible dog owners that's the problem. A reputable breeder will only breed their dogs when there is a demand for the breed.
I'd appreciate if you did your research before accusing all breeders of adding to the number of unwanted dogs.

Maybe the fact you cannot find one is your first clue.
You no doubt believe all mutts are miraculously cured of all genetic evils.
Its misguided, and scientifically proven to be incorrect and if you spent any time at a shelter or vet hospital, they would tell you.
If you want to get a mix, go to the shelter and give a dog a home. There are lots of mongrels that will make a nice pet.
If you want a puppy then buy a purebred dog from a breeder - YES, there are crappy breeders out there but you do some research and find the right one. And many breeders have young adults or other older dogs that are looking for homes. And as some note here, they also do rescue - and this is how I got my purebred GSD - so that is ANOTHER option open to you.
A well bred Labrador is a joy to own .

Get it from a breeder. Rescues and shelters make you fill out a bunch of forms and ask a bunch of questions for no reason. They are a pain.Source(s): Labrador owner

Never buy from a breeder. Breeders are part of the problem. You can find any kind of dog even pure breeds from a shelter like the Humane Society. You not only save a life, but you also aren't contributing to pet overpopulation.

Please don't jump on the bandwagon of using only breeders. Go to your local shelter and pick up a poor disadvantaged dog, the more we breed the more suffering will occur for dogs, besides the satisfaction of saving a dos life cannot be beaten.
