Chocolate chip cookies with less brown sugar/more white sugar?

I am making the Nestle Toll House chocolate chip cookie recipe. It calls for 3/4 cup regular granulated sugar, and 3/4 cup brown sugar. However, I discovered I only have about 1/4 cup of brown sugar left, but have more than enough regular sugar. Update: I have a Maple Syrup/Agave blend as well... should I use that?
