Under the Dome is an upcoming American science-fiction horror television series developed by Brian K. Vaughan based upon the novel of the same name by Stephen King. Both Vaughan and King will serve as executive producers along with Neal Baer, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Stacey Snider. Baer will serve as day-to-day showrunner. Danish director Niels Arden Oplev will direct the pilot.[1] The premiere of Under the Dome is scheduled for Monday, June 24, 2013 at 10PM on CBS.[2]

Yes lol, we definatley do get the exhibit the simpsons here. It's frequently the most standard comedy with the younger children/ teenagers - together with family man, futurama etc. We get the jokes as we now have grown accustomed too the american humor via films and the television indicates to be had too us. We arent as backward as persons consider!

The TV series is based off the book, but since it hasn't aired yet I can't say how similar it'll be to the book. The basic plot line seems to be the same, though.
