Do New Era hats shrink if you wash them?

If you wash and dry a hat will it shrink a bit. I bought a hat that was a bit to big because it was the only size they had left. If i wash and dry it will it shrink a bit? Have you ever tried this?

Yes, if you wash and dry it the hat will shrink a bit. You may have to wash and dry it a couple of times to shrink it enough so it fits.
