When will you guys give that up? The "Mission Accomplished" sign was for the carrier which was returning home from deployment.

Um, he ended the war and left office with a signed status of forces agreement, didn't he? Seems the mission WAS accomplished. Of course, once Obama came to office, the Iraqis tore up that agreement and kicked Obama out. But that's okay. Mission was still accomplished. And you guys said it couldn't be done.

Do you not ever get tired of being wrong?

He was declaring Mission Accomplished for that Navy Ship that was returning back to the states. That carrier had it's mission and they returned successfully, hence, their mission WAS accomplished. He never ever stated anything about the entire military's mission was accomplished.

By applying for welfare and wishing he was back in office. He may not have been a perfect leader or even close to Reagan, but least I was working, I was safe, I had rights, and the economy was thriving under that president.

Bush hasn't been president for over 4 years. Your question would probably be better posted in the History section. And for the record, to clear up your confusion, Bush said in that specific speech "Our mission continues.."
